He had been spending the winter in Florida with his wife and two daughters. He was a member of the F&AM of Eldred, The Methodist Church of Eldred and the protected Home Circle. He had been engaged in the oil business most of his life. At the time of his death he was survived by his wife, Stella, two daughters, Mrs. Mae MacMillan and Mrs. Jennie Hadle, both of Eldred.
