COMPLETES WORK
Well Known Resident Passes to Reward After Long and Busy Life.
Funeral services for Albert Breunle were held Saturday after noon at 2:00 o clock, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, of which he was a member, the Rev. Chester Bird officiating.
- Interment was made in the family lot in Eulalia Cemetery.
Mr. Breunle had been failing rapidly for the past two months although he had not been well for over two years, having suffered a severe illness in March, 1934, at which time he is thought to have had a slight paralytic stroke. He passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Earl A. Brown, Wednesday evening at 9:45.
Albert Philip Breunle was born in Coudersport December 25, 1859 one of twin sons of Christian and Judith Heibach Breunle.
The other twin, Carl F. Breunle, survives;
also three sisters,
- Mrs. Frederica Brehmer,
- Mrs. Amelia Grabe and
- Mrs. Anna Taubert, all of Coudersport;
another brother,
- Christian C. Breunle, died some years ago.
Mr. Breunle had lived all his life in Coudersport, having followed his trade of carpenter as long as his health permitted. For many years he and his brother, Carl, were part of the firm of Breunle & Abson, building contractors. He was a member of the Modern Woodsmen and Maccabee Lodges.
Mr. Breunle was married twice, two sons, Norris and Lester, being born to the first union. His second wife was Miss Virgie Forringer of lock Haven, who passed away a number of years ago. Three children survive this marriage, one daughter, Florence, having died when a small child.
The children surviving are:
- Norris of Knoxville;
- Lester, Buffalo, N. Y.;
- Katherine Brown, Coudersport;
- Gertrude Shaw, Warren;
- Weldon, Hornell, N. Y., all of whom were here at the time of their father's death, Mrs. Shaw having been here for the past three weeks.
Others here for the funeral were.
- Herman Grabe, Port Allegany;
- William Shaw, Warren;
- Otto Card and
- Mrs. Roy Larred, Lock Haven.

DORA ROSA BREUNLE GUENTHER
Dora Rosa Breunle, daughter of Christian F. and Judith Breunle, was born in New York City, September 28, 1853. Her early childhood was spent in New York City and Hastings-on-the-Hudson. In 1859, with her par- lits, she came to Coudersport, where hey had purchased a farm on South ill, and where she grew to young lomanhood.
On October 18, 1883, she was united marriage with Gustav I. Guenther, and together they settled on a farm on the old homestead. To this happy union were born four sons,
- Albert of Coudersport,
- Arlo J., of Olean, Y.,
- Clarence G of Coudersport, and Carl W. of Wilmington, Del.
After the death of her husband on September 9, 1900, she remained on farm home for ten years, after which in 1910 she moved with her family to Coudersport, where she lived until the time of her death, December 1932.
She was a kind, true, and faithful other. Her purity of life, her hon- f and integrity, her love and devo-i will ever serve as an inspiration to children and to all who knew her. tie words of the wise man concern- a virtuous woman can truly be aid of her: "Her children arise up, nd call her blessed." Many years ago fie united with St. Paul s Lutheran Ihurch, of which body she remained a ftithful member until her death. Her christianity was not a theoretical religion, but that of a practical and living gospel.
She is survived by her four sons, one grandson, six granddaughters, one great granddaughter, and two brothers
