COMPLETES WORK
Well Known Resident Passes to Reward After Long and Busy Life.
Funeral services for Albert Breunle were held Saturday after noon at 2:00 o clock, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, of which he was a member, the Rev. Chester Bird officiating.
- Interment was made in the family lot in Eulalia Cemetery.
Mr. Breunle had been failing rapidly for the past two months although he had not been well for over two years, having suffered a severe illness in March, 1934, at which time he is thought to have had a slight paralytic stroke. He passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Earl A. Brown, Wednesday evening at 9:45.
Albert Philip Breunle was born in Coudersport December 25, 1859 one of twin sons of Christian and Judith Heibach Breunle.
The other twin, Carl F. Breunle, survives;
also three sisters,
- Mrs. Frederica Brehmer,
- Mrs. Amelia Grabe and
- Mrs. Anna Taubert, all of Coudersport;
another brother,
- Christian C. Breunle, died some years ago.
Mr. Breunle had lived all his life in Coudersport, having followed his trade of carpenter as long as his health permitted. For many years he and his brother, Carl, were part of the firm of Breunle & Abson, building contractors. He was a member of the Modern Woodsmen and Maccabee Lodges.
Mr. Breunle was married twice, two sons, Norris and Lester, being born to the first union. His second wife was Miss Virgie Forringer of lock Haven, who passed away a number of years ago. Three children survive this marriage, one daughter, Florence, having died when a small child.
The children surviving are:
- Norris of Knoxville;
- Lester, Buffalo, N. Y.;
- Katherine Brown, Coudersport;
- Gertrude Shaw, Warren;
- Weldon, Hornell, N. Y., all of whom were here at the time of their father's death, Mrs. Shaw having been here for the past three weeks.
Others here for the funeral were.
- Herman Grabe, Port Allegany;
- William Shaw, Warren;
- Otto Card and
- Mrs. Roy Larred, Lock Haven.
