Ernie Mosch was born on 08 Jul 1917 in Avis, Clinton County, PA. He married Florence Moran, daughter of Frederick Francis Moran and Lorraine J. Bradley, [i.e. Ruth Hanson -jcw20190901HAv- vide infra) on 04 Feb 1942 in Coudersport, Potter County, PA. She was born on 24 Feb 1924. Their children are
- Patricia Ann (Dynda),
- Ernest Orvil Jr,
- Jancie Lee (Maynard) and
- Thomas Edward.
Ernie died on 12 Jan 1997 in Coudersport. Florence died on 21 May 1986.

Ernie is the son of Emil Christian Mosch and Myrtle Edith Landon,
grandson of Emil Ernest Mosch and Wilhelmina Hedwig Kortz,
g grandson of Karl Herman Mosch and Caroline Scheider, Jacob Kortz and Katherine Pflugfelder.

Thank you Paul Lynn Gardner for your information on another Mosch family member.
Jim and I along with his sister Beverly Masolotte Crispeno recently had lunch at Mosch’s Tavern. We had a nice lunch and learned that the tavern is no longer in Ernie’s family. The new owners have chosen to keep the name and it will continue as a Coudersport landmark.

· June 1935. Wedding day of Mary and Frank (Sim) Kolat. That is my Grandma Bobinko whose arm is linked with a lady that I think is Mary's mom.. My aunt Lizzie Bobinko is in front next to Mary. I recognize many of the faces in this picture. I love how the friendship of the tannery folk shines through. They were a close knit group.

I have always loved the write-up of the wedding! 150 people for lunch after the ceremony and 300 at the Grange hall for the dancing! I can assure you the 5 elements of a Polish get-together were in action! Eating & drinking, laughing, singing, fighting & crying. ????????????????

You don’t know how much I’m enjoying these posts. My Grandma and Grandpa Sevinsky are pictured as I remember them and I recognize many others in this photo. I’m still stunned by the number of guests and understand why Grandma has on her apron!
