· June 1935. Wedding day of Mary and Frank (Sim) Kolat. That is my Grandma Bobinko whose arm is linked with a lady that I think is Mary's mom.. My aunt Lizzie Bobinko is in front next to Mary. I recognize many of the faces in this picture. I love how the friendship of the tannery folk shines through. They were a close knit group.

I have always loved the write-up of the wedding! 150 people for lunch after the ceremony and 300 at the Grange hall for the dancing! I can assure you the 5 elements of a Polish get-together were in action! Eating & drinking, laughing, singing, fighting & crying. ????????????????

I can readily see Blanche Sevinsky Kowalski beside Mary’s mom and I think that is Jim Masolotte standing by your grandfather.

Brenda Kenealy Williams I recognized Blanche right away. Yes, I think that is Jim next to my grandpa. The one next my grandpa with the boutonniere would be Sim's brother, Stan , I think.

The article says the 2 bridesmaids were Agnes Walaski and Agnes Kolat but the one sure looks like Rose Vosick. Thought it was her til I read the names.

Agnes Kolat kneeling far right Agnes Walaski kneeling far right, Uncle Louie bow-tie back row left behind Aunt Blanche. Our great grandparents kneeling next to accordionist.

You don’t know how much I’m enjoying these posts. My Grandma and Grandpa Sevinsky are pictured as I remember them and I recognize many others in this photo. I’m still stunned by the number of guests and understand why Grandma has on her apron!

Diana Buchsen I noticed the apron too. The older folk were always busy and I am sure she never took that apron off til time to go to bed. I am glad you are enjoying the posts. I love the old history.
