I believe we are distant cousins as I am also a Varney descendant (Leander Varney is my great grandfather). While building my tree on Ancestry.com I only found one reference to Armond M Varney in a census record (and I also see the Leander family picture that has Armond in it). Do you have any other info on Armond? My mother and aunts do not recall an Armond in the family.

I have been using a lot of the information you have supplied and it has been of great use. My family was never really close to their relatives so it's like learning a whole new history we never knew existed.

I have some limited info on Albert and Emily which is in the file I'll send you. No true death dates, but as I stated they are missing from the 1930 Logan County,WV. census. I remember my grandmother (Hattie Vickers Varney) pointing out where they used to live when we drove by many years ago. It was near Big Creek/ Banco WV. I believe that is where they lived when they died. I'm talking/e-mailing some Varney descendants right now who may be able to help.I'll ask. The files I'm sending will start with Albert Varney, although I could go back 4 more generations if you want to see them. The only other Varney pictures I have are naturally from the Joseph Varney side of the family, no group family, just individual shots at different times. I'm working on that. You should be able to figure out my Aunts and Uncles from the file info. Do you have any Varney pictures you could share? If I can drum up some more info/pictures, I'll keep you you in mind.
