Meacham, 52, Roulette RFD1, received a fracture of the left upper arm, a wound on the upper right chest and many severe body bruises when he was gored by his own bull, while he was working near his farm, Monday about 11 a.m. Meacham told neighbors who found him that he had fought the bull for a half hour. The bull left shortly before Adam and Jesse Roboski found Mr. Meacham. Mr. Meacham was taken to Potter County Memorial Hospital, Coudersport. Meacham, 54, of Roulette RD1, died yesterday morning at the Potter County Memorial Hospital, Coudersport. Mr. Meacham was born May 26, 1896, at Port Allegany and lived in this vicinity all his life. He was employed at the Pittsburgh-Corning Corporation here and was a veteran of World War I. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Nora Mangold; his wife, Frances; and six sons, William, Gordon, Eugene, Leonard, Barry and Dale. Funeral services will be conducted by the combined American Legion and Veterans of Foreigh Wars at the Gallup Funeral Home Friday at 3 p.m. The Rev. John D. Westley, pastor of the Evangelical United Brethren Church, will officiate. Interment will be made in Fairview Cemetery.
