Truman B. Hall, seventy-four years old, of South Olean, died this morning at 5:30 o'clock at his home. He was born in Allegany in September, 1851 and lived in Olean the greater part of his life.
He is survived by three sons, Fred, Oliver and Norman Hall of this city; one brother, Elmer Hall, of Olean; five sisters, Mrs. George Wheeler, Mrs. Irene Anderson, Mrs. Charles Carter, Mrs. Herman Miller and Mrs. Emma Fay of this city, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was a member of the Olean Lodge No. 471, 1.O.O.F., and of the Rod and Gun club. He was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal church.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. C.C. Bentley, pastor of St. Stephen's Epicsopal church, will officiate. Burial will be made in the Protestant cemetery at Allegany.

The children of Cornelius Zealman & Elva Diana (Ayers) Hall.
"Augusta Hall Kyser was the great granddaughter of David Hall. David Hall was born in 1756. He served with General George Washington during the Revolutionary War and two of his younger brothers were in the war of 1812. Cyrus Hall was one of these brothers. David Hall came to South Olean in 1835 and at that time the family was the first white family to settle south of the Allegheny River. One of David's sons, Philo and his family of 14 children, lived in a cabin which was located on what is now known as the West River Road, Town of Allegany and on property that is now owned by Michael and Mary Peck.
