C. Z. Hall Family
The children of Cornelius Zealman & Elva Diana (Ayers) Hall. "Augusta Hall Kyser was the great granddaughter of David Hall.
David Hall was born in 1756. He served with General George Washington during the Revolutionary War and two of his younger brothers were in the war of 1812.
Cyrus Hall was one of these brothers.
David Hall came to South Olean in 1835 and at that time the family was the first white family to settle south of the Allegheny River.
One of David's sons, Philo and his family of 14 children, lived in a cabin which was located on what is now known as the West River Road, Town of Allegany and on property that is now owned by Michael and Mary Peck.
