I think that is her sitting on the lap of our grandmother (Rebecca Fern Weimer). Behind her might be Aunt Trudy Bickford Pagano and behind her Aunt Rita Bickford Blow. They had a spring up there and always made ice cream for the dinner. She said it was always very cool under the big trees! 20180129- Kaye Swift Baxter It was where they tapped the trees and it was very large. When I was a kid we used to get hundreds of gallons from the trees. Many trees are gone but still there are a small grove. We gathered the sap in milk cans on a stone boat with horses and hauled-to the sugar shanty to boil down. It was a large operation in February.
