Brick Barn Going Up
Attorney John F. Stone is to have erected near the river between 4th & 5th streets, a brick barn, which will be one of the finest structures of its kind in this section.
J.H. Perry, of Austin, died Thursday-last at the age of 68 years.
Daughter Received Bullet
While doing wome practice shooting with a rifle a few days ago, George Mallory, of Cross Fork accidentally shot his daughter. She was not seriously wounded.
Died at Hospital.
Ray F. McLaughlin, of Austin, aged 23 years, died at the hospital in that place last week, as the result of typhoid feber.
She Took Laudanum
Mrs Grace Wesley, wife of Frank Wesley, of Sweden Valley and the well known woodsman operating at Lyman Run, had some misunderstanding with her husband and took laudanum but there were no serious results. The trouble occurred at Mr Wesley's camp at Lyman run.

Neil McDonald's Train Ran Away
Fireman Jumped and Was Saved
Near Medix Run, Friday last Neil McDonald, engineer on a B&S log train which ran away, was killed. The fireman, Carl Moore, jumped from the engine and saved his life. Mr McDonald is survived by his widow and four children who reside at Straights.
