Miss Barbara A Long daughter of Mr and Mrs Sheldon C Long, Benton and J Richard Wilcox grandson of J Richard Wilcox Knoxville Pa were united In marriage at two o'clock Saturday afternoon in a ceremony at Benton Methodist Church.
The Rev Clifford Williams pastor officiated at the double-ring ceremony before the altar which was decorated with baskets of gladioli and chrysanthemums.
Preceding the ceremony, Edward Roberts, Dickson City played organ selection and Stanley Tinder Oaieton sang “Because" and “The Lord's Prayer"
Escorted by Father
Given Ih marriage by her father the bride was attired- la-a waltx-length gown of white nylon net and Chantilly lace with fitted laoe bodice sheer yoke Queen Anne collar and long sleeves tapering to points at the wrists The skirt was encircled with lace insets Her Imported illusion veil was attached to a lace cloche trimmed with pearls and orange blossoms She carried a sheaf bouquet of white roses chrysanthemums and strphan-otls.
Mrs Glen Watts, Benton, was matron of honor In a gown of sea foam green with fitted satin bodice andTdVu'ble "nylon net skirt trimmed with' ruffle and flowers She wore a small matching cloche 1 of leaves and carried a sheaf oLi green and white rosebuds j
Two Bridesmaids
Mrs John Unbewust and Mrs Thomas Hartman, Benton, were bridesmaids in gowns of shrlmu j Oeor-Cplorrd satin and nylon net aim-j liar to that of the matron of honor. They wore matching leaf cloches and carried sheaf bou-lun quets of white and shrimp-color- ed rosebuds.
Chester Swimley, Knoxville was best man. Ushers were Robert Casey, Light Street and Robert Miller, Knoxville.
The mother of the bride wore a dusty rose chiffon dess with lace Jacket. The groom's mother chase powder blue crepe.
To Lake Placid
A reception followed at the Hotel Moses Van Campen with 100 attending The newly-weds left later on a wedding trip to Lake Placid NY For the trip the bride wore a pink nylon dress with white accessories.
The bride graduated from Benton High 8chool and the groom from Knoxville High School. Both are graduates of Mansfield State Teachers College with degrees In music. The bride is a member of Kappa Delta Pi and Lambda Mu. Her husband is affiliated with Phi Mu Alpha, Sinfonia and the M Club.
They will reside in Couders-port where the bride will be Instructor in music. The groom will teach music in the schools of Eldridge Pa.

She was born February 26, 1931, in Danville, PA, a daughter of Sheldon and Helen Knause Long. On August 22, 1953 in Benton, PA, she was married to J. Richard Wilcox, who survives. Mrs.
Wilcox was a graduate of Mansfield State College and taught Vocal Music and Kindergarten in the Coudersport Area Schools from 1953 until her retire ment in 1984. She was a member of the Park United Methodist Church, Coudersport, PA. Survived by her husband; 2 sons, William Wilcox, at home, Jeffrey Wilcox of Coudersport, PA; 2 grandchildren. Friends may call at the Fickinger Funeral Home, Coudersport, PA, Saturday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, at 3:30 pm, at Park United Methodist Church, Coudersport, PA, with the Rev.
Paul Lauchle, Pastor, officiating. Burial, Eulalia Cemetery, Coudersport. The family requests memorial donations be made to Potter County Hospice, Inc., or Park United Methodist Church,
