Two Coudersport reside were treated and released Cole Memorial Hospital Fridi July 23, following an 11:4a p. automobile accident on Rt. approximately seven mi north of Coudersport. Roger W. Reed, 21, driver the car, and Norman Leete, a passenger, were taken to ; hospital after Reed was fori from his lane, lost control of automobile and struck sevc guardrails.
I Coudersport -based st police report that the causei the accident was an unkimf motorist who was traveling! the wrong lane of traffic. He was traveling south on Rt. when he observed a car in lane. • Dominic J. Castano
Dominic J. Castano, 65, of Coudersport died suddenly Sunday at the home of his sister in Cortale, Italy, where he was stricken with a heart attack or stroke. Mr. Castano and his wife left Coudersport two weeks earlier for a visit with relatives in Italy. Mrs. Castano will arrive in New York late this afternoon, where she will be met by their son David. Funeral arrangements will be delayed until the Italian authorities have released the body. Mr. Castano was born at Cortale on Jan. 1, 1911, a son of Francis and Teresa Saracino Castano. He was married June 5, 1937, in Warren to the former Angeline Corfida. He had been a resident of Coudersport since 1931 where he owned and operated Castano's Tailor Shop. In terms of membership, Mr. Castano was the oldest member of Coudersport Rotary Club and one of its past presidents. He was a member of St. Eulalia Church, St. Eulalia Parish Council, a fourth-degree Knights of Columbus, Bradford Assembly, and its past district deputy; a member and past grand knight of the Coudersport Council 1355, K of C; and a member of Central Grange. Surviving in addtion to his widow are two sons,
Dr. Francis A. Castano of Coudersport RD and
David P. Castano, Rixford;
two daughters,
Mrs. Thomas (Teresa) Kisiel of Coudersport and
Miss Mary Linda Castano, at home;
four grandchildren,
a sister. Mrs. Antoinette Pelligrino, Cortale,
and several nieces and nephews..

Weimer Reunion Aug 8 Crandall Hill Grange Hall; Ronald Pease 20 Jailed on Two Charges.
• Arnold Stambaugh
R. Arnold Stambaugh, 78, of the Cattaraugus County Nursing Home and Infirmary, Machias, N.Y., died Saturday (July 24, 1976) in Olean (N.Y.) General Hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was born at Austin, March 30, 1898, a son of Arnold and Mary Powers Stambaugh.
Mr. Stambaugh was formerly of Allegany (Rock City), N.Y., where he owned and operated Stambaugh's Restaurant. He was a member of Olean Lodge 491, BPOE.
Survivors include, a sister, Mrs. Alfred (Emily) Gilmore, Bradford; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at the Halwig Funeral Home Inc., Olean, where a funeral service was held yesterday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. John L. Kipp, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Olean, officiating. Burial was in Mount View Cemetery, Olean.
Ronald Pease Gets Jail Term On Two Charges
Randall W. Pease, 20, of Shinglehouse was sentenced to serve five months in Allegany County Jail, Belmont, N.Y., on charges of petit larceny and criminal trespass in the third degree.
Pease was taken before William W. Serra, Allegany County Judge, on Friday, July 23, and sentenced. The charges stem from an incident occurring at the Ceres Service Store, Town of Genesee, N.Y., on May 6.
He pleaded guilty to the above charges to satisfy an indictment for burglary in the third degree and petit larceny. Fifty-eight days of the sentence were served after he was arrested and before he was released on bail.
Randall has been taken back to Cattaraugus County Jail where he. along with his brother, Ronald, also 20 of Shinglehouse, will face charges of criminal trespass which stem from an incident at Weston's Shoppers City, Weston Mills, N.Y. Both are expected to be sentenced to a term of three months in Cattaraugus County Jail, Little Valley, N.Y., for that crime.
The twins are also wanted in Potter County for a number of charges which have been filed against them.
Weimer Reunion Aug. 8 At Crandall Hill
The Weimer family reunion will be held Sunday, Aug. 8, at the Crandall Hill Grange Hall.
Dinner will be served at 1:00 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring clippings and pictures of earlier reunions and data on early Weimer families..
