This photo is a keeper for me. Washington Clinton's daughter Elizabeth "Lizzie" (1839-187) was the second wife of my great-grandfather George Washington Mitchell. She died after childbirth. I will see if I can enhance the photo and get a better view of the faces.
Also there is a link to the Hamilton side of my family, if I have this right. Washington Clinton's daughter Katherine (1857-) married Orange Haskins. His son Howard Henry Haskins married Loretta M. Willett. Their daughter Kathleen June Haskins married Marshall Hamilton, who was my uncle.
Marshall and June had four children. One still lives in Coudersport. Three of their children have died: Thomas Howard, Susan Dawn and Jackie "Jack" Marshall. (June and Marshall were World War II veterans. During combat in Italy, Marshall was seriously wounded in both legs.)

Fight May Have Been Real Cause Of Man's Death
Aloysius K. Drapcho, criminal investigator for the Coudersport Barracks of the Pennsylvania State Police, is investigating the "suspicious" death of a Chester, Pa., man, 51-year-old George Larkins.
The victim was admitted to Cole Memorial Hospital Aug. 15 at which time he told hospital officials he had fallen from a parked vehicle and had struck his head on pavement. Two days later he was transferred to Sacred Heart Hospital at Chester where he died Aug. 18 of spinal cord injuries.
Reportedly, police were later informed the victim was involved in a fight which allegedly occurred somewhere in Hector Twp., the night he was injured. Name of the suspect is being withheld until completion of the investigation.

Thank you Gerry that is very intresting. I've known of nurses but machinists mate, cool. Said it before but I can not get over the number of people who were in WWII from Coudy. Most people know of their Dad or Mom serving but I was oblivious to all the greatest generation. God bless them and those who supported them.
