  LifeSketch	Harriet M. Coats, wife of the late Martin Coats, died at her residence in Oneida Castle, N. Y., January 8th in the ninety-fourth year of her age, her husband having died just twenty-one years before her. All her days were spent on the Coats farm on Twelve Thousand until some thirty-five years ago, when the family moved to Oneida. The funeral service was held from her late home on Wednesday of last week and the burial will take place later in the family plot near her early home. She leaves to mourn her loss, her daughter, Mrs. Esther A. Pickens, who has carefully nursed her during the many years of her declining life; her son Rev. Adelbert S. Coats, D. D., who resigned his pastorate in California a year ago and moved with his wife to Oneida Castle, in order to be near his mother during her last days; her sister, Mrs. Allie M. Sears of Pasadena, Cal., two brothers, Albert C. Evans of Ulysses, Pa., and Charles B. Evans of Janesville, Wis., beside a number of grandchildren in the western states.
