• Ransom Kelligan, 76, Dies in Nursing Home After Lengthy Illness
Ransom L. Kelligan died yesterday in Mary's Nursing Home, Wellsville after an illness of one year. Mr, Kelligan was born Jan. 9, 1894 in the town of Willing and was the son of John and Sophrona Kelligan.
Mr Kelligan was a retired Atlas Powder Company employee and lived at Whites Havens, Pa. until two years ago when he moved to Shongo to reside with his sister, Mrs. Carrie Wilson.
Surviving are his sister, four daughters,
Mrs. Genevieve Fulton of Anaheim, Cal.,
Mrs. Dorris Gerlack of Ontario, Cal.,
Mrs. Willa Miller of Coudersport, Pa.,
Mrs. Betty Jane Lynch of Lancaster;
one son, Clarence L. Kelligan of North Union, Pa.;
10 grandchildren;
10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at the Wildman Funeral Home, Whitesville from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 9 in the afternoon and evening. The Rev. Elmer W Krentz, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Wellsville, will officiate at funeral services at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Wildman funeral home and burial will be in Whitesville Rural Cemetery,.
