He was born in Kane, Pa., and had lived in Sun City Center since 1993, coming from Putnam County.
He was a welder for N. Pennsylvania Gas Co. He was a Methodist. He was a member of Moose Lodge 1649 in Crescent City, member of the Legion of the Moose in St. Augustine, member of the Liberty Masonic Lodge No. 505 in Port Allegheny, Pa., member of the Liberty Lodge Council and Consistory of Cloudersport, Pa., and a past high priest of Liberty Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Greenhill of Sun City Center;
daughters, Phyllis M. Kellogg of Pifford, N.Y.,
Muriel A. Britton of Warsaw, N.Y., and
Cheryl S. McConnell of Riverview;
six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Lewers Funeral Home in Ruskin with the Rev. David Looney, pastor of Ruskin United Methodist Church, officiating.
