George Hershberger, retired farmer, died at his home in Martinsburg. at 7 a. m. yesterday of complications after an illness of four weeks. Mr. Hershberger was a son of Henry and Elizabeth Steele Hershberger and was born in Snake Spring Valley, January 3, 1851. He was a life long member of the Church of the Brethren. On December 25, 1873. he was married to Alice Boor. They moved to Martinsburg 18 years ago.
Surviving are three sons and five daughters:
D. C. Hershberger, Charter Oak, Iowa;
Mrs. H. S. Ober, Woodbury;
Mrs. C. A. Studebaker, Tippecanoe City, Ohio;
Dr. J. W. Hershberger,
C. A. Hershberger,
Mrs. G. B. Wineland and
Mrs. J. K. Archey, Martinsburg;
Mrs. C. B. Rhodes, Martinsburg, R. D. No. 1;
three brothers and three sisters;
the Rev. John S. Hershberger,
Daniel and
Anson Hershberger, and
Mrs. Jacob Baker, Everett:
Mrs. Albert Stayer, Roaring Spring; and
Mrs. G. L. Working, Altoona.
Funeral service will be held in the Martinsburg Church of the Brethren, tomorrow afternoon at 2:30.
Interment will be in Fairview cemetery, Martinsburg..

HERSHBERGER KERR.
Miss Lorma Kerr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kerr, of McVeytown, and Dr. J. Warren yershberger, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Herstoherger, of Martinsburg, were married yesterday morning at 9 o'clock in the Presbyterian chtsrch in McVeytown. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Fred Andrews. The bride is a graduate of Shippensburg State Normal and has been a teacher in the Altoona public schools for a, nunlber of years. Dr. Hershberger was educated at Juniata college and at the University of Pittsburg, and for the past three years has been practicing in Martinsburg. Fol lowing tne cerejnony the couple mo-1 tored to Lewistown, where a wedding breakfast was served. Dr. and Mrs. , Hershberger then left for a wedding trip by motor to Chicago and the Great Lakes. They will be at home to their many friends alter August 15, in Martinsburg..
