Pearl York of Grove Street, Warsaw died July 8, 1964, in the East Side Nursing Home following a long illness. She was born in Gainesville on November 9, 1878 and had spent her life in this area. Her husband, Clayton York, died in 1938. Mrs. York was a member of the Warsaw Methodist Church and Mizpath Sunday School Class of the church. Survivors are two sons, Arthur of Warsaw, Reverend Edward York of Cullon, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Frances Parker of Los Angeles, Cal.; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister Mrs. Amanda Langdon of Hermitage. A service was conducted in Weeks Funeral Home by Rev. John Ellis with burial at Maple Grove, Gainesville.
