There is a Hamburg departure record and a New York arrival record for a Josef and Josefa Socha that matches the ages and dates of arrival for the subjects of your search.Josef, Josefa and Marianne (Josef’s mother) left Hamburg on November 4, 1880 and arrived in New York on November 19, 1880 on board the S.S.
