Mr. Taylor leaves his widow, one sister, eight children, 43 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. He was born April 6, 1858, in Cornplanter, Pennsylvania, a son of Joseph and Lucy Denton Taylor. He was married in 1884 to Alta Messler who survives together with these children.
