My Grandfather Walter James Gibson was born on the 12 Sep 1888 Knutton Staffs his mother was Louisa Beech but there is the mystery Louisa Beech married Thomas Inskip but all the children born were called Gibson there after. Fanny Gibson mother to Mary was married twice to John Gibson and James Inskip. On the marriage certificate it states that Thomas Inskip had no father recorded. Birth certificate for Thomas Gibson (no Thomas Inskip recorded for his birth year)also has no father but has a mothers name Mary so was born out of wedlock . Interesting to see on the 1861 census Fanny has gone back to her original maiden name Gibson not Inskip.
