Barbara graduated from Austin High School, Class of 1963 and worked many years for Emporium Specialist, Austin. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Austin, and a life member of the Austin-Costello Sportsman Club. Barbara also loved bird watching. Barbara is survived by a daughter: Jan (Jim) Eckert of Bridgeville, DE; a son Chad (Deb) Barr of Austin; brothers: Terry (Ruth) Crosby of Austin; Bill Crosby of Austin; a sister: Connie (Joe) Clingan of Ohio; grandchildren: Chad Barr, Jr., Lacey (Jason) Russell, and Kelsey Eckert, step grandchildren: April, Beth, Sherri, Heather, Alli, and Megan Hudson, step great grandchildren: Ardell Hudson, and Evelyn George. In addition to her husband and parents, Barbara was preceded in death by brothers: Clem and Hughie Crosby. A private burial will be in St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery.
