They had a wiener roast the night of their arrival and went on a five-mile hike the following day. On returning to camp they had a cook-out and fixed a one-pot meal for dinner. Those atending were Mrs. Edwin Wetzel, guardian; Mrs. C. H. Francis, camp sponsor; Mrs. Earl Seeley, assistant guardian, Mary Jane Franke, Marty Metzger, Kay Francis, Barbara McCloud, Ginger Good-noe, Carol Seeley, Shelley Heymann, Linda Wetzel, Phyllis Chamberlin, Laurie Shear and Sue Baker. Little Leaguers To Play Game Tonight Monday evening after the rain a sizeable crowd was astounded by the excellent ball playing of the local youngsters. The Little League Rotary played the Little League Royals on the new ball diamond behind the community building. For Rotary the pitcher was Ronnie Dean and catcher Joe Pagano. The Rotary received two hits and two runs. The Royals' pitcher was Jay Kefover and catcher was Gene Perry, me Koyals got eight runs on nine hits. Wednesday (tonight) the undefeated Little League Moose will play the VFW. Golden Anniversary Plus Ten Extra Years Mr. and Mrs. Henry Newcomb of Galeton were guests of honor at a party Sunday at Cherry Springs Park celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. Hostesses were their daughters, Mrs. Lula Price, Mrs. Eva Hurd. and granddaughters, Mrs. Ada Hurd and Mrs. Caroline New-comb. Over 100 friends and relatives attended the celebration. The tables were decorated with a silver money tree at each end and a four-tiered wedding cake, a gift of Mrs. Nelson Newcomb. The guests of honor were presented with a purse of money and corsages. Variety Shower Honors Miss To Become Bride Miss Kathy Meacham of Coudersport was guest of honor at a variety shower held Sunday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Douglas. Miss Meacham will become the bride of Carlisle Douglas July 22 at Coudersport. The hostess served refreshments to over 40 guests and the bride-to-be received many gifts.
