Wessel Post, Grand Army of the Republic, until it disbanded, and of the Seventh Day Baptist Church of East Portville. Surviving at the time of his death were, two sons, W. Brayton and Floyd E. Maxson of Portville, two daughters, Mrs. L.d. Place, Ceres, (NOTE: Ceres is on the NY/PA line, part is in Allegany County, NY and part in McKean County, PA.) and Mrs. R.E. Barber, East Portville. (Note: East Portville aka Main Settlement, NY.) Three brothers, Alton Maxson, Myrtle, PA., Horace G. Maxson, Milton, Wis. and Hartley H. Maxson, Rochester, NY. Funeral was held at the R.E.
