Twin daughters were born Thursday (March 21, 1974) in Cole Memorial Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Snyder, Coudersport.
First to arrive was Ruth Virginia, who weighed six pounds, three and one-half ounces. Her sister, April Lynne, weighed six pounds, 15 ounces. They join two brothers, Lynn 5 and Richard, 3.
Mrs. Snyder is the former Judy Major, daughter of Mrs. Ruth Major, Austin, and Lavern Major, Port Allegany. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Harry Snyder, Coudersport.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Elliott, Genesee RD1, announce the engagement of their daughter, Dawn, to Sam Lehman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Lehman, Brookland.
No date had been set for the wedding.

BIRTHDAY
An 80th birthday celebration in honor of Walter Lattin, Coudersport, was held Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. T. Lee Bennett and family, Roulette.

CHARITY
The Andrews Settlement and Ellisburg Community Club, together with women of the Genesee area, recently sponsored a bake sale as a benefit for the Easter Seal Campaign of the Potter County Society for Crippled Children and Adults. More than $148 was earned at the sale which was held in the Palmatier Garage showroom. Officers of the club are Louise Carpenter, president; Corrine James, vice president, and Dorothy Constable, secretary-treasurer.
