Daniel E. Story, 66, of Genesee was killed Wednesday (April 13, 1977) when the tractor he was operating overturned. Born at Sweden Hill May 27,. 1910, he was a son of Freeman and Iva Furman Story.
On Nov. 28, 1932, at Coudersport, he married the former Edith Launsberry, who died March 2, 1973. Mr. Story had been a lifetime resident of Potter County and was a member of Central Grange, 1216.
Surviving are five sons,
George D. Storey, Hammondsport, N.Y.,
William Storey, Genesee,
Arthur and
Otto Storey, both of Coudersport, and
Frank Storey, Miami,
a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Helen) Thomas, Corning, N.Y.;
21 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at the Fickinger Funeral Home, where a funeral service was conducted Saturday at 1 :00 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel A. Waite, pastor of the Andrews Settlement Union Church, officiating.
Burial was in Sweden Hill Cemetery, Coudersport. RD.

Mrs. Bessie Tunny and son, Tom, of Rochester were Sunday guests of Mr,s. Tunny's aunt, Mrs. Clara Ridgway of Seventh Street. Mrs. Ridgway's health is very poor.
Mr. and Mrs. Lyndon Leet motored to Cuba Lake, Friday and were over night guests of the latter's cousin, Mrs. Jessie Lewis. Mrs. Lewis returned home with them, Saturday.
