Mr. Story had been a lifetime resident of Potter County and was a member of Central Grange, 1216. Surviving are five sons, George D. Storey, Hammondsport, N.Y., William Storey, Genesee, Arthur and Otto Storey, both of Coudersport, and Frank Storey, Miami, a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Helen) Thomas, Corning, N.Y.; 21 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the Fickinger Funeral Home, where a funeral service was conducted Saturday at 1 :00 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel A. For about six years Mr. Storey had been in poor health and for some months his condition had been serious. Deceased was born Nov. 3, 1879, at Gold. He was a son of William and Sophronia Dunn Storey. He married Ruth Dunn and following her death he married Iva A. Storey. Survivors Include Mrs. Storey, a son, Robert Storey, of Ellisburg; a daughter, Mrs. Cora Rutherford, of Bennett; a stepson, Dan Storey, Reynoldstown; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Storey came to Sweden Valley in 1941 from Andrews Settlement, a retired farmer. He was a member of Central Grange for 55 years. Daniel E. Story, 66, of Genesee was killed Wednesday (April 13, 1977) when the tractor he was operating overturned. Born at Sweden Hill May 27,. 1910, he was a son of Freeman and Iva Furman Story.

On Nov. 28, 1932, at Coudersport, he married the former Edith Launsberry, who died March 2, 1973. Mr. Story had been a lifetime resident of Potter County and was a member of Central Grange, 1216.
Surviving are five sons,
George D. Storey, Hammondsport, N.Y.,
William Storey, Genesee,
Arthur and
Otto Storey, both of Coudersport, and
Frank Storey, Miami,
a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Helen) Thomas, Corning, N.Y.;
21 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at the Fickinger Funeral Home, where a funeral service was conducted Saturday at 1 :00 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel A. Waite, pastor of the Andrews Settlement Union Church, officiating.
Burial was in Sweden Hill Cemetery, Coudersport. RD.

Daniel E. Story, 66, of Genesee was killed Wednesday (April 13, 1977) when the tractor he was operating overturned. Born at Sweden Hill May 27,. 1910, he was a son of Freeman and Iva Furman Story.

On Nov. 28, 1932, at Coudersport, he married the former Edith Launsberry, who died March 2, 1973. Mr. Story had been a lifetime resident of Potter County and was a member of Central Grange, 1216.
Surviving are five sons,
George D. Storey, Hammondsport, N.Y.,
William Storey, Genesee,
Arthur and
Otto Storey, both of Coudersport, and
Frank Storey, Miami,
a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Helen) Thomas, Corning, N.Y.;
21 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at the Fickinger Funeral Home, where a funeral service was conducted Saturday at 1 :00 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel A. Waite, pastor of the Andrews Settlement Union Church, officiating.
Burial was in Sweden Hill Cemetery, Coudersport. RD.

Mrs. Lena Howland entertained all her children and grandchildren at her home here, recently.
Mr. and Mrs. John Howland and family of Dundee, N. Y., were recent guests of Mrs. Lena Howland.
Capt. and Mrs. Frederick Howland and three children of Kustis, Va spent a few days at the home of his mother, Mrs. Lena Howland. They left last Thursday morning for their home.

Mrs. Leroy Hammond and young son, Walter, of Ridgway visited her mother, Mrs. Joseph Easton, last week.
Miss Rose Hagerman and Joe Miller of Pittsburgh were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lyndon Leet recently.
Mrs. Marvin St. Clair of Buffalo spent several days last week at the home of her sister and family, Mrs. Ed Fisher.
Little Henry Fuller, four year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Fuller, underwent an emergency appendectomy, Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Wetzel are the parents of a daughter, born to them at the Potter County Memorial Hospital, Saturday, April 26.
Mrs. Bessie Tunny and son, Tom, of Rochester were Sunday guests of Mr,s. Tunny's aunt, Mrs. Clara Ridgway of Seventh Street. Mrs. Ridgway's health is very poor.
Mr. and Mrs. Lyndon Leet motored to Cuba Lake, Friday and were over night guests of the latter's cousin, Mrs. Jessie Lewis. Mrs. Lewis returned home with them, Saturday.
Sgt. Rupert Huntington, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Huntington Sr., has been assigned as chief of the mail and record section at Hollo-man Air Base in New Mexico. His new address is SSgt. Rupert S.
