BETROTHED--Mr. and Mrs. Walter D. Foust, Coudersport, annnounce the engagement of their daughter, Susan Marie, to Richard W. Yentzer, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Yentzer, Coudersport.
Miss Foust was graduated this year from Coudersport Area high school and is employed at Potter County Memorial Hospital. Her fiance was graduated this year from the same school in 1963 and is employed at the local Market Basket store. He also attended the College of Bible in Philadelphia.
The wedding will take place July 23.
Church Activities
Central Pennsylvania annual conference of the Methodist Church will meet June 15-19 at Dickinson College and Allison Methodist Church in Carlisle. The Rev. and Mrs. LaRue Bender left Monday afternoon to attend.
About 50 members of Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Coudersport, attended the Sunday veiling service at Olean CM A hurch where 15 candidates from le Coudersport Church were bap-zed. ; .
LCW of St. Paul's Lutheran Church will meet Thursday night in the church. Mrs. Donald Trotter will speak on the Lutheran Nursing Home at Kane which will be ready for occupancy in July. Mr. Trotter will be the administrator of the home.

Miss Donna Marie Herzog and Michael Eugene Snyder were united in marriage at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 1966, in First United Presbyterian Church, Coudersport.
The Rev. Robert Merten officiated at the double-ring ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Herzog, Coudersport, R.D. 1, and the son of Mr. and 'Mrs. Steven Snyder, Coudersport, R.D. 2.
Miss Linda Moshier, Roulette, organist, provided appropriate wedding music and accompanied the soloist, Miss Kay Clepper. Shclocta. White 'gi-adioli and yellow mums adorned t'he front of the church for ilnc ceremony.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a floor-length gown of silk faced peau de sole with accents of. Alencon lace fashioned with scooped neckline, full-length pointed sleeves and detachable train. A cabbage rose headpiece of and pe.uls held her eBjow-langiii bouffant veil and fhe cai-ried a cascade arrangement of carnations centered toy a white orchid.
Miss Linda McCollough, Bruin, served as maid of honor in a gown of blue lace and chiffon with matching blue shoes. She carried a nosegay of white carnaMcns and yellow rcses and wore a headland comprised of the same kind cf flowers. For her daughter's weddiiTg Mrs. Herzog selected a pale yellow A-line dress with whiite accessories. The bridegroom's mother wore a dress of nile green with beige accessories. Both mothers had corsages cf white carnations and yellow roses.
Paul Snyder, Coudersport, was best man for his brother. Guests were ushered by
Jack Close, Gillett, and
Glen Hersee, Akron, N.Y.
Following the ceremony a reception was held in the church .parlors. A floor-Ion gtlh pale yellow table-, cloth covered' the refreshment table Watch 'held a white uiilkglass punch bowl, tall white candles and was centered by a tiered wedding cake decorated with sugar bells and yellow roses and topped with white wedding bells in a heart-Shaped aroh base of cake surrounded by white and yellow flowers.
For her wedding trip the bride was attired in a pale green whipped cream dress with wihite accessories complemented by in orchid corsage.
The bride was graduated in 1962 from Coudersport Area High School and from Mansfield State College in 1966. Her husband was graduated from the same high school in the same year and from Alfred Tech in 1965. He is a farm manager on the Kingsley Poultry Farm. New address of the couple will be Box 26, Gillett, Pa.
A rehearsal party was held by the parents of the bridegroom.

Mr. and Mrs. Gordon L. Cook of Geneses announce the marriage of their daughter, Diann Joan, to William Potter, son of Mr. and Mrs. James D. Potter of Harrison Valley.
The wedding took place Monday, June 13. 1966, in the Genesee Methodist Church with the Rev. William Barnes officiating. Following the evening ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents.
The newlyweds are living at Harrison Valley.

• Port Allegany Wedding of Interest
One of the loveliest weddings of the season was solemnized Saturday at 2:00 p. m. by the Rev. P. N. Osborne in the First Presbyterian Church in Port Allegany when Miss Dorothy Louise Parish, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Parish, Broad Street, became the bride of Dr- Philip Leonard Carlson, son of Mr and Mrs. James A. Carlson.
Mrs Carlson is a graduate of the local high school and has completed a course in business at Grove City college and at the present time holds the position of receptionist at the office of the North Penn Gas company on Mill Street.
Dr. Carlson is a graduate of the local high school and the Unlversity of Pennsylvania in the dental course and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He received the rating of lieutenant commander and since his release to the reserve corps has resumed his practice.
Dr. and Mrs. Carlson left on a wedding trip to Canada and a visit the New England States.
Upon their return they will reside in Broad Street where their new home is being put in readiness.
Gives Bail to Appear After Plea of Guilty
Robert McDowell of Port Alle- gany R. D. 3, was arrested Monday on a charge of driving a motor car while under the influence of intoxicants. He was examined by Dr. J. I. Bentley. Before Justice F. J. Wandall he entered a plea of guilty and was committed to jail. Tuesday $500 in cash bail was deposited and he was released to appear at September court. The arrest was made by Private M.R. Wilson.
Truck and Passenger Car Damaged
Investigating police state that Robert C. Mack, R. D. 1, Cross Fork, failed to signal a left turn of his truck two miles west of Galeton. The same authority states that Berna M. Wilson of Elmira failed to signal intention of passing. As a result an accident occurred at 12:30 p. m. Saturday. The passenger car was damaged about $100 and the truck some $25. No arrests were made.
Daughter Arrives At Springer Home
Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Springer are the proud parents of a daughter, born yeterday afternoon at the Potter County Memorial Hospital. She weighed seven pounds. eight ounces and has been named Glenda Jane. Mrs. Springer will be remembered as Miss Beatrice Buchanan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reva Buchanan of North Coudersport.
