MRS. NANCY McSWAN JULIO DIES AT CONNEAUT
Mrs Nancy McSwan Julio,of Conneaut, Ohio, passed away Friday, October 15. She was born at Wharton, March 10, 1860, a daughter of Mr and Mrs. Henry Nelson, pioneer settlers of that place. She is survived by two brothers,
- Rev. Walter Nelson of Walla Walla, Wash., and
- S. D. Nelson, of Orlando, Fla.; also seven nieces and nine nephews.
Mrs. Wm. Long,
Mrs Hubert Cox and
Mrs. Geo. Mitchell, nieces of the deceased, and Mrs Wm Haskins, attended the funeral Sunday, at Conneaut.
HUSBAND OF FORMER COUDERSPORT GIRL PASSES
Private Harold P. Montie, 35 years old, son of Paul C. Montie, of Olean, N. Y., died unexpectedly in-Los Angeles, Calif., Friday afternoon, October 15. He was inducted into servce March 15, 1941, and since January had been with a military police battalion in Los Angeles.
Private Montie's wife, who survives, is WAC Auxiliary Margery Montie, Fort Myers, Va., who is a former Coudersport girl, a daughter of the late Arch Lyon and a granddaughter Mrs E. W. Lyon.
ALBERT RANDOLPH OF FISHING CREEK DIES
Ill six months following a stroke of paralysis, Albert Hyatt Randolph passed away at Fishing Creek Friday.
Mr. Randolph was born at Verona, Pa., March 26, 1885, son of Mr. and Mrs. Curt Randolph. Surviving are the father and one brother, W. E. Randolph, Oakmont, PA.
Funeral service was held Sunday with Mr. Summers officiating, and burial was in Fishing Creek Cemetery.
AGED RESIDENT DIES AT COUNTY HOME
William Hollenbeck, who was born at Roulette, June 26, 1858, and whose whole long life was spent in Potter County, died at the County Home, Saturday. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Hollenbeck. He was never married. The only close relative is a brother, Andy, of Sweden Valley.
MRS. WITMER DIES AT BELLEFONTE HOME
Mrs. A. W. Witmer, of Bellefonte, Pa., passed away last Thursday. She recently visited for a few days at the home of Miss Mary Miller. Her daughter, Miss Edna Witmer, was at one time superintendent of the Coudersport Hospital.
