Hello John, we’re trying to find more information on my family tree. Allen Morley was my mother’s father, my maternal grandfather. His mother is linked in one of your family trees but it won’t give me any more information because the profile is private. She had my grandfather with James Allen Morley.

Carli, the only James Allen Morley in my Tree was born in 1969.
Mrs Jeannette Morley Buck, my 3rd cousin 1x removed, was very active in her genealogy and she has written a blog as well as run a FB column called Words of Gold (She lives in Gold, PA, very rural near Ulysses, in Potter County, PA).
She is estimated to be your 2nd-3rd cousin, sharing 189 cM across 9 segments with you. You and I only share 9 cM/1 segment, but you've probably already seen that.
So, Who is your mother, and her father, and his mother? that we can piece this all together? I am very interested, because I would like to fill in your part of my Tree as well.

Carli, I looked at your posted Tree. From what Jeannette told me 3 years ago, I'm guessing your mother is LauraLyn Morley, married Clark? She is James Allen's (b. 1969) sister? Jeannette had no documentation at the time, as she did some quick filling-in near the end of the discussion.
Allen's parents, as I have it, were James Edsil and Nina Smith Morley, b. 1921/1927, resp. Is that correct?
