THOMPSON AGE 88 YEARS Doris E. THOMPSON, of Collins Personal Care Home, Elkland, PA, formerly of Ulysses, PA, died Monday, March 14, 2016 in her son’s home in Genesee, PA. She was the daughter of Laurence and Flossie Allen Hunt. She was a 1945 graduate of Westfield High School. On December 1, 1946, in Ulysses, she married Robert L. “Tink” Thompson, who predeceased her on November 19, 2009. Doris was a member of the Ulysses United Methodist Church, the UMW, and the Tri-Town Volunteer Firemen’s Auxiliary. Surviving are: three sons, - Robert C. of Elkland, PA, - Roy W. of Ulysses, and - Dann H. of Genesee, PA; a daughter, Elizabeth Ann of Rochester, NY; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a niece, Brenda of Westfield. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sisters, - Pauline Potter and - Arlene Ducey. Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.
