Robert Danielson performed the 2.00 p.m. double-ring ceremony for the daughter of Mrs. Greta L. Gillon, Coudersport, and Edward M. Gillon, Warren; and the son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Chuvala Sr., Danbury, Conn. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown fashioned with short sleeves empire waist, and A-line skirt with short train. A chapel cap held her shoulder-length veil and she carried a Bible topped with cymbidium orchids and ivy. Her only jewelry was a locket, a gift from the bridegroom's mother. Mrs. Homer B. Predmore, Coudersport, was matron of honor for her sister. She was attired in a blue floor-length gown trimmed with lace, styled with A-line empire waist, and short sleeves. A lace headpiece held her face veil and she carried a bouquet of daisies and cornflowers. For her daughter's wedding, the bride's mother selected a dress of red print and black accessories. The bridegroom's mother chose a mint green dress with matching accessories. Both mothers wore corsages of white glamelias. Robert Zerfas, Three Rivers, Mich., served as best man.
