Married (1)Betsy Page(1779-1824)8-10 children.. Married (2)Esther Lucina (Page??).. Esther was a Sister-in-law or cousin of Betsy's and moved in to help Ittai raise his children... Esther does not come down as a very nice person or step-mother at all..Hodges family records are quite firm on this.. Some place further back(Ill. records) Betsy and Esther Lucina were combined into one person and all of the children are connected to Esther Lucina... After Esther Lucina's death in 1858..Ittai moved to Alma NY with his oldest son Jared Page (after Betsy's Father).. He died there.. Family records say he died in West Almond and is buried there in a lost cemetery but Esther Lucina's monument is known and he probably should of been placed there..It is most likely he was buried on the large Elliott lot(s) and the grave is unmarked or the stone has been lost.. His son, Jared Page, and the two oldest Grandsons and their families are also buried on the same lot... When Ittai died he was found in his rocker and the family thought he was smoking his pipe when in actuallity he passed in his sleep and lit his beard on fire (one of many stories passed down from my Grandfather) His Mother taught him word association so he was able to remember. Ittai was born around the Ides of March...
