Conrad married my great grandfather's niece Jannett "Nettie" Knox. Parents of Franklin Knox Hollenbeck and Oscar Hollenbeck (1884-1885).
Conrad and Nettie married May 9, 1877. They shortly there after moved to Nebraska.
He died in the city of Lincoln in Lancaster County, Nebraska.
He had been elected chief justice of Nebraska and held court only 5 days before he passed away.

Chief Justice Conrad Hollenbeck, who took office just about two weeks ago, died at Lincoln last Thursday, in his 67th year. He had been sick for the past 14 months, frequently having to give up his work in the district court in Dodge, Platte, Colfax, Merrick, Nance and Boone counties. He served in that district 16 years, resigning last December following his elevation to the state bench.He had participated in only two days' labor in the supreme court. The deceased leaves a wife and a son who resides in Montana...He was born on a farm in Hebron, Potter county, Pennsylvania, in 1848. Taking up the study of law after leaving school, he was admitted to the bar in 1871, and commenced practicing at Coodersport, Pa. In 1874 Mr. Hollenbeck was elected a member of the Pennsylvania legislature and served continuously in such capacity until 1877, when he came to Fremont. He was elected county attorney of Dodge county in 1890 and at the expiration of his first term was re-elected, serving until the beginning of 1895. In 1895 he was elected judge of the district court of the Sixth district and occupied that position until elected supreme judge.

Mae was born 27 FEB 1883 in Montana and died July 13, 1969 in Flagstaff, AZ while visiting one of her daughters.
Mae is buried in Forsyth, Rosebud, MT with a still born child, a daughter Prudence and Frank Jr. who died in 1908. See wife Mae's bio for the names of all the children.
Nettie Knox is my GREAT grandfather's niece.
