Mrs Mary Tillotson Formerly of Coudersport,
Word was received here Monday that Mrs. Mary Tillotson, formerly well known in Coudersport had died at her home in Brokville, Pa., at the age of seventy-two years. She the wife cf Aaron Tillotson.
Mrs. Tillotson was the eldest daughter of the late Chauncey VanWegen a pioneer resident of Potter county and a Civil War veteran. While she was born in Elk county she moved here early in life and was well known to all the older residents of the county. She was a fine woman, a noble wife and the faithful mother of eight children. She is survived by three brothers, and many other relatives, quite a number living in this county. The surviving brothers are
Levi C. VanWegen, the popular R.D. Carrier of Coudersport,
Albert V. VanWegen, of Pittsburg and
Arch E. VanWegen, of Buffalo.
Tuesday morning Levi C. VanWegen with his nephew Don VanWegen, left for Brookville to attend the funeral.
