Jes L. "Palsie" Pekarski, 30, a lifelong resident of Coudersport and beloved son, brother and grandson, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021.
Born on Thursday, May 24, 1990 in Coudersport, he was a son of Brian J. and Norma A. Cobb Pekarski.
Jes attended school in Coudersport and earned his GED in Emporium. He had been employed by St. Mary's Pressed Metals in Galeton, had also worked in local gas fields, and had been employed by local trucking companies.
Jes was an avid hunter and an excellent fisherman. "Jespa" as he was known to many of his friends, was a talented pool player having won several trophies. He was a member of the Northwoods Pool team which won many championships in the Coudersport Pool league. He was a former member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 192 in Coudersport.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents of Coudersport; a sister, Jennifer L. (Jeremy Booth) Pekarski-Booth of Raleigh, N.C.; his paternal grandmother, Muriel M. Pekarski of Coudersport; his maternal grandmother, Norma Cobb Nichols of Coudersport and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Jes was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, John E. Pekarski; his maternal grandfather, Daniel H. Cobb; three uncles, Raymond H. Cobb, Gene A. Cobb, and Craig A. Cobb and an aunt, Barbara J. Cobb Boothby.
Currently there are no services planned. A celebration of Jes' life will be held on a date and place to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children-Erie, 1645 W. 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505.
Jes' family has entrusted his care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
