Judith M. Tucker “beloved mother and grandmother”
ROULETTE, Pa.---Judith M. “Judy” Tucker, 77, a lifelong resident of Roulette, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021, in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport, after a lengthy illness.
Born on Friday, July 23, 1943 in Coudersport, she was a daughter of Henry R. and Doris I. Barr Tauscher. On August 31, 1968, in Shinglehouse, she married Keith W. “Billy” Tucker, who passed away on December 10, 2004.
Judy was a graduate of Port Allegany High School, Class of 1961. She was employed for 25 years by T. C. Specialties in Coudersport and as a secretary by D. E. Errick Company in Port Allegany for 3 years.
Judy was a member of the Riverside United Methodist Church in Roulette, a member of the Roulette Red Hatters, and a member of the “Office Girls” in Coudersport. She loved collecting cups and saucers and also angels. She loved to feed and watch hummingbirds, but her greatest love was her family.
Left to cherish her memory are
two sons,
- Brad W. (Joyce) Tucker of Roulette and
- Kevin J. Hanson of Lexington, South Carolina;
- a daughter, Kim K. (Doug) Bunk of Tennessee;
four grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Judy was predeceased by an infant daughter who died at birth;
and a brother, Gerald “Huck” Tauscher, who passed away on July 25, 2020.
Family and friends may call from 10am to 11am on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at the Riverside United Methodist Church, 39 River Street, Roulette, where a memorial service will follow at 11am with Pastor Matt Howe, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverside United Methodist Church, PO Box 65, Roulette, PA 16746 or to the Roulette Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 172, Roulette, PA 16746.
Judy entrusted her care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
