Death Takes Young Mother and Infant Daughter
Mrs. La Verta Hildebrandt Gotshall and Baby Pass Away in Coudersport Hospital, Monday.
Sad, indeed, were the deaths of La Verta Aurelia Gotshall and her new-born daughter, La Verta, at the Coudersport Hospital, Monday, December 7. Mrs. Gotshall was the daughter of Paul and Anna Kahle Hildebrandt, and she was born in Coudersport, July 20, 1917, and nearly all her life was spent here.
Deceased was married to Edward Gotshall in January, 1937. He with one son, Garry, and her parents, survive. She has a brother and sister surviving also, Herman Hildebrandt, Ovid, N. Y., and Mrs. George Schrlau, Buffalo. Funeral service will be held from the family home at 10 East Seventh Street at 2:00 o'clock tomorrow (Friday) afternoon with Rev. C. W. Schirmer, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, officiating.
- Burial will be in Eulalia Cemetery.

FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN OHIO TODAY
Information was received here this morning that W. Elmer Graybill had passed away at 7:00 a. m today at his home in Solon, Ohio. Mr. Graybill was a resident of Austin and of Coudersport some 30 years ago. He was 69 years old, a member of the Masonic fraternity and Coudersport Consistory. No further details are available.
