I loved those 2 men. Such sweet men they were. Katy will have to help me with Mrs. Wharton's first name. She was Mrs. wharton to me, I believe. Or I just plain can't remember it. Anyhow, both families lived up across from the silk mill.............on a beautiful street who's name I can't recall. His wife was an accomplished dress maker. Whartons lived on the second house on the right, going up Niles Hill Road. Still can't place Betty's home, as Spid and Laura Patterson lived across the road from Whartons. Next on left hand upper corner was John and Bernice Mahaley. The last home on the left before you started up the Niles Hill Road. Was Old Bob Lyman. The only other home on this road was a home on the right, set up against the hill, kind of behind Whartons. I only remember a remarried widow named Lattin once lived there. There was one other home (still there) on the left across from the silk mill, before you got to Niles Hill Road. Can't remember framily living there. Whew. Frank Ehrhart was a potatoe farmer on Niles Hill. There were 6 of us kids and i went to school with Daryll Maynard.
