Kane of Olean have completed an inquest into the death of Ralph Wisner, 23 years old, of Eldred, who died from a gunshot wound in a house in the state highway near the Main Settlement, on the New York state side of the line, several days ago, and they gave a verdict of suicide. The father of the young man believed his son had been murdered, it was said, and he requested that the inquest be held. Wisner, according to the coroner's findings, had been having domestic troubles, and had agreed to meet his wife in a designated house in the state road. They met and an argument followed, according to the coroner, and Wisner went to an upstairs room and shot himself with an old pistol. The bullet entered the heart. Several of the cartridges were struck by the firing pin before one of them exploded, it was said.
