SKINNER, Arlie L. Age 95, of Potterbrook, PA, Friday, December 6, 1985 at the Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport, PA, following a brief illness. Friends may call at the Koch-Wetmore Funeral Home, Ulysses, PA, Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm where Funeral and Committal Services will be held Tuesday at 1 pm, the Rev. Duane Burdick will officiate.
- Burial, Potter Cemetery, Potter-brook.
He was born March 30, 1890 at Potterbrook, the son of Leroy and Julia Thompson Skinner.
On February 22, 1912 he married Veva Horton who passed away in 1949. Mr. Skinner had been a lifelong carpenter and was a member of the American Archaeological Society and the Potter County Historical Society.
He is survived by 2 sons,
- Horton L. Skinner of Roulette, PA,
- Glenn W. Skinner of Potterbrook;
- 1 daughter, Mrs. Hugh (Arlene) Houghtaling of Potterbrook;
11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 nephew.
He was preceded in death by
- his daughter, Fern, in 1914.
Memorials may be made to the River View Cemetery Association, Potterbrook.
