These pictures are marked October 1977. My sister Pam Morey was Class of '81, and she's in the band picture (center, back) so maybe there are other familiar faces you might recognize. I remember all the work everyone put into building those floats!! Enjoy!!

COUDERSPORT, Pa.---On March 20, 1961 Debbie Lynn was born to Bill and Phyllis (Potter) Gaberseck and was destined to be full of life. A baby girl, with golden hair, she joined older brother, Billy Gaberseck, and then later younger brother, Larry (Mona) Gaberseck, and younger sister, Patty (Jess) Wilson.
Debbie graduated from Coudersport High School in 1979, which was the same year her son, Robert (Abbi) Rossman was born and 5 years later her son Jason (Liz) Rossman added to her family.
On October 22, 1988 she married the love her life, Geoff Mahaley. Together they built their business now known as Mahaley’s Outdoor Power Equipment. In June of 1989 she had her youngest son John (Maureen) Mahaley. Debbie and Geoff enjoyed many years together until November of 2016 when Geoff was called home.
The past few years Debbie has spent her time continuing to help JW with the business that her and Geoff built. In the recent years Debbie has spent time with her partner, Kenny Ruter, who has been by her side and a comfort to her. Debbie enjoyed running Leona’s Greenhouse with Kenny and his daughter, Jessica Ruter. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, trips to the lake fishing and of course riding her buggy.
Debbie’s earthly story ended this past Sunday, October 22, 2023, in Hamot Hospital in Erie after a brief illness. She is loved by her family and 8 grandchildren, as well as her nieces and nephews. As well as her best friend in shenanigans, Beth. Debbie has touched so many lives over the years with her genuine loving heart and will be missed by many. She will be forever be remembered as the life of the party.

The first time we met Debbie we were sitting on top of Marvin Hill Road on our atv's (buggies) just
enjoying the scenery and she stopped to see if we ran out of gas or broke down or needed help. Ever since each time we were in Potter we would usually see her and Kenny. We were on our atv's at the bottom of Marvin Hill on 9/22/23 and here comes Debbie in her pickup. She knows our buggies so she stopped to talk. We were shocked to learn of her passing 30 days later. She was a very caring, kind, and fun person and always laughing. She will be greatly missed. Always looked forward to seeing her. Our sincere sympathy to both Kenny and Debbie's family.
