Mrs. Pansy Cornelius, 77, died Sunday at her home in Shingle-house. She was born April 30, 1887 at Shinglehouse, a daughter of Henry and Ella Meyer Howard. In 1908 she was married to Lewis Cornelius, who survives. Besides her husband, Mrs. Cornelius is survived by five daughters, - Mrs. Russell Allen, Wichita, Kan., - Mrs. Samuel Stewart, San Francisco, Calif., - Mrs. Luther Cass, Roulette, - Miss Peggy Cornelius, San Francisco and - Miss Thelma Cornelius, at home; two sons, - Guy Cornelius, San Francisco, and - Duane Cornelius in the Air Force; eight grandchildren and three great grandohildren. - Also, a sister, Mrs. Dacia Austin, Ceres, NY; four brothers, - Lee Vernon Howard and - Clair Howard, both of Shinglehouse. - Clifford Howard, Richburg, NY, and - Robert Howard, Ceres, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held in the Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, at 2:00 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. M. H. Vincent of the first Baptist Church officiating. - Burial will be in the Bellrun Cemetery, Bellrun.
