Are these Allis's related to Mary Elizabeth Allis Pye, 1866-1947? Great pic, Lanny Nunn!

Found her, yes- Mary Elizabeth, Ella, and Anna are sisters, in that order.

An earlier Mary Elizabeth, different mother (Matilda Church Allis), died at 7 years old, one of 3 children I think. After Matilda died in 1855, Calvin Converse Allis married Mariah Antoinette Horton and had 7 more children.

Is 'Allis', or does 'Allis' morph into, 'Ellis'?? I wonder. They lived in Ellisburg; just sayin'.
