She died March 25, 1930, at Grimes, Polk County, Iowa, and was buried there beside her husband in Sunny Hill Cemetery. On May 23, 1867 Charlotte was united in marriage to William H. Seymour in a ceremony performed by Reverend J. Arnold, at Detroit, Michigan and witnessed by J. Stephens, Jr. and A. F. Seymour. William was born in about April 1843, in Oakland County, Michigan. He died February 4, 1907, in Grimes, Polk County, Iowa, aged about 64 years and was buried there February 6, 1907 in Sunny Hill Cemetery. They were childless.
