Corning. Dec. 9. -- After a long illness Mrs. Lydia Vanderhoef, widow of Henry Vanderhoef, died at her home, 167 East Erie Avenue.
Besides a son, William E. Vanderhoef, with whom she resided, she is survived by a son, Reuben M. Vanderhoef of Mount Morris. N. Y.
Mrs. Vanderhoef had been a resident of Corning since she was sixteen years old. She was born in the town of Catherine, Chenango Coutny(sic), NY.
The funeral was held at the house at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
Burial was at Big Flats.
