Royal Raymond Work
Dies At Greenman Hill Home --Had Been Ill Seven Months.

Royal Raymond Work died at the family home on Greenman Hill, Coudersport, R. D. 1, Friday (Mar. 16, 1951). He had been ill for seven months.
Known to his friends as Roy Work, he was born at Davenport, Iowa, Feb. 9, 1882, but he had resided in Coudersport and vicinity since childhood. He was an employee of the American Silver Truss Corporation and Abbotts Dairies for years.
Deceased married Mary Elizabeth Smith at Painted Post, N. Y., Jan. 28, 1906. She survives with one son and one daughter, Raymond A. Work, Coudersport, and Mrs. Fern Worthington, Little Valley, N. Y. There are ten surviving grandchildren. Mr. Work was a member of the Baptist Church.
Roy Work was a man who had many friends won by pleasing manner.
Funeral service was held at 2:45 Monday afternoon at North Eulalia Baptist Church following prayer at the Grabe Funeral Home. The Rev. Daniel Waite officiated.
- Interment was in Eulalia Cemetery.
