This database is a collection of middle school, junior high, high school, and college yearbooks from across the United States. While yearbooks may not provide information about the vital events that are usually associated with genealogical research, they do provide other information about individuals' lives. This information helps place people in historical context as well as provides detail that helps turn individuals, sometimes only known by names and dates, into actual people

Are you by chance related to "L. W. Gibbs", who set the 440 yard dash record at Alfred University in 1901 and held it until 1914, when it was broken by Ivan Fiske? I read "L.W. Gibbs" in the attachment while doing some research and thought, "Whoaaa!" I hope you are well. YITBOS

John C Wetzel Cool! Leonard's son Walter(1906-65) was a lawyer and trustee at AU. His brother Mayne Jesse (Peter) Gibbs (1918-1987), my dad, was an auto parts warehouser on Sycamore St. downtown Buffalo.
Walter's son Frederick Winfield Gibbs, close friend of Joe Fasano(88 and 89 respectively), just got off the Board after 30 years, patriarch of our family.
Thanks for asking John!
