| LifeSketch | Norma M. Butler, 85, loving mother and grandmother, went to be with her Lord on Monday, March 11, 2013 surrounded by her family in Coudersport, PA at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital. Born on October 28, 1927 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of Ivan and Dorothy Walker Crosby. On August 8, 1946 at Christ Episcopal Church in Coudersport, she married Eugene H. Butler, who died on December 27, 2000. Norma was a 1946 graduate of Coudersport High School She had been employed at Galeton Production, Pure Carbon Co., and Potter Pak. She and her husband owned and operated Carl\'s Texas Hots in Coudersport. She was a member of St. Eulalia Catholic Church and was an avid Lakers, Steelers and NASCAR fan. She loved crafts, jigsaw puzzles and being with her family. Surviving are her four children, Carl E. (Elaine) Butler of Welcome, MD, Sharon L. Traylor of Stephenville, TX, Sandra L. (John) Dunn of Coudersport, PA, and Tami S. (Martin) Hood of Venango, PA, a foster daughter, Ann Carrigan of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, twelve grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. Also surviving is her brother, Raymond (Marge) Crosby of Apple Valley, CA, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers Ivan Crosby, Jr., and Jack Crosby. Friends are invited to Norma\'s Life Celebration beginning on Thursday, March 14, 2013 with visitation from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at the Fickinger Funeral Home of Coudersport. Visitation will also be held on Friday from Noon until 1:00pm at St. Eulalia Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00pm Friday at St. Eulalia Catholic Church with the Reverend James C. Campbell, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in Eulalia Cemetery in Coudersport. Memorial contributions may be made to the Coudersport Volunteer Ambulance Association, 122 E. Second St., Coudersport, PA 16915, or to the Coudersport Public Library, 502 Park Avenue, Coudersport, PA 16915, or to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation, PO Box 96280, Washington, DC, 20077.
