All for a cause much greater than yourself. A sacrifice that deserves to be remembered. Pvt Thomas Smith was born in 1889 and was involved with WWI at a very early age. He was shipped off to France leaving behind a new bride, who was pregnant with his child. Pvt Smith was assigned to Headquarters Company of the 314th Infantry, 79th Division. The book published in 1922 titled "History of the Seventy-Ninth Division A.E.F.
